The Carole Hoffman Gallery & Studio, at 208 Sawmill Road in Hillsborough Lower Village, features portraits of adults, children and animals, landscapes, and still lives. Carole’s fine art work has been widely exhibited throughout the country and is in a collection at Syracuse University, Syracuse, NY, as well as in numerous private collections throughout the continental Unites States, Hawaii and Canada. Two recent portraits are slated to go to Israel. Many awards have been bestowed on her work, including: Best Representational Work, Guild Hall, East Hampton, Long Island, NY; Best of Show, Sharon Arts Center, Sharon, NH: First Prize, Norwich University, Northfield, VT: Most Popular Pencil Rendering, Hopkins Center, Hanover, NH; and Two Special Commendations, University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, NC. |

The Carole Hoffman Gallery & Studio, established in 1984, is open year round by appointment of chance. Carole’s business and residence are located in what the historic Gilmore General Store, in operation 1856 through 1961. The artist accepts commissions and works well from photograph. Her primary media are pastel, watercolor, pencil and charcoal.
