 Originally from England, I came to America in 1958 and to New Hampshire with my husband and four children in 1977. We started a small farm two years later and raise Scotch Highland Cattle. Presently we have a dozen animals, chickens and four cats. 1979 was also the year I started sewing soft toys. I "discovered" jointed teddy bears made from mohair furs in 1988 and they have been my passion ever since. I am a member of the League of New Hampshire Craftsmen and have a booth at their annual Mt. Sunapee fair. I also sell my bears and toys through League shops and other galleries. |
