 In today's world it is difficult to find things still made by hand. It is not difficult, on the other hand, to recognize and appreciate them" Art by Marianne began in 1981 as a small cottage business in the picturesque colonial village of Amherst, NH. Her "one-of-a-kind" pieces of Americana art are hand-painted and marketed primarily through gift shops and craft shows. Her designs are hand-painted on a wide variety of ornaments, wooden and ceramic pieces, some have been produced in limited edition lithographs. |

She now has a home in Hillsborough and her work will be displayed at the Gallery at Well Sweep during the Studio tour in September.
