Area Artisans Spring Into Summer
Faire! Saturday and Sunday June12
&13, from 10AM to
4PM (rain or shine...) The Faire will feature
Hillsborough Area Artisan members and guest
artists. 38 juried artisans will be exhibiting. This years faire will include baskets, jewelry, blown glass, fabric art; paintings, pottery, photography; woodburning, blacksmithing, and more. In addition to artist displays in outdoor tents there will be artisans in the Center Club. Also Bob Lint and Jane Pinel will host several artisans at the Well Sweep Gallery. Gibson Pewter and Sissi Studio, both located in Hillsboro Center, will also be open during the faire. Refreshments will be available in the Center Club: Coffee, tea, cold drinks, pastries, German soft pretzels and a special lunch menu will be served by German John's Bakery. Entertainment Saturday - The Morris Dancers will be performing at Noon and 1:30pm. There will be both a women's and men's group of dancers. Entertainment Sunday - "Second Time Around" will perform at 2pm. They describe their music as "middle of the road" so it appeals to a large diverse audience. Come check it out! Reception for Spring Into Summer Faire will be held at the Well Sweep Gallery in Hillsborough Center. Friday June 11 from 5-7 pm.
