2007 Awards: Janett Gilman - League of NH Craftsmen Annual Craftsmen's Fair - Craftwear Exhibit - Best of Knitting and Crocheting - for her freeform crochet necklace Nan McCarthy - Nan's painting "Nauset Light," was awarded Honorable Mention in the Small Works category at the Sulphur Springs Valley 12th International Miniature and Small Works Art Show held in Wilcox, AZ. |

Artists Helping Their Community PENNY SALE Hillsborough Area Artisans had a basket of items donated by artists at the Penny Sale to benefit The Hillsborough Elementary School and The Hillsborough Historical Society. The Penny Sale took place in April. Participating artists included: Diane Bennett, Cindee Carter, Cheryl Christenson, Camille Gibson, Jon Gibson, Janett Gilman, Lynn Hendrickson, Bob Lint, Nan McCarthy, North Country Glass, Jane Pinel, Ray Bliss Rich, and Sissi Shattuck HILLSBOROUGH CHAMBER OF COMMERCE GOLF SCRAMBLE Cheryl Christenson, Camille Gibson, Janett Gilman, Diane Gutgesell, and Nan McCarthy donated pieces for a raffle basket of handcrafted items for this fundraiser. This is to benefit the Hillsborough -Deering School scholarship fund.
